This emergency relief project supported 250 people affected by the war in Ukraine through the distribution of essential items including food, hygiene products, clothing, and medicine. The aid targeted internally displaced persons (IDPs) living in temporary settlements, helping them meet their basic needs during crisis conditions.

This week, our Swiss and Ethiopian students came together for the final session of our Cultural Exchange Program — a warm, joyful moment filled with learning and connection.

Since November 21, 20 farmers in Bizaa have been supported by our local partner IACO in preparing their olive groves for winter 🌧️🌱. Together, we’ve worked across 15 hectares, covering 4,910 olive trees.
These preparations—soil cultivation, pruning, and disease prevention—are critical for protecting trees from winter diseases and boosting productivity for the next harvest season. 🌳✨
This marks a key step in reviving Syria’s olive sector through practical, sustainable action. More fields to follow!

This week, 53 students from three schools completed observational internships at @asiacellconnect , a telecommunications company.
Students received an induction on the company’s structure and visited key departments, enabling them to see how their newly gained ICT skills can be applied in real workplace settings.
The students were highly engaged, asking questions and interacting with Asiacell trainers — a meaningful step toward turning learning into opportunity. 🌟
This initiative is funded by the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives @canadadev and implemented by our partner @Mercy Hands.
