For patients and families in Gaza, a hospital is not only a place for treatment. It is also where many spend long hours, days, or even longer periods under extremely difficult conditions.
Through this emergency food response, hot meals were distributed to people in and around hospitals, helping patients, caregivers and families access food at a time when meeting even the most basic daily needs can be a challenge.
A meal cannot solve everything. But in a hospital setting, it can offer a moment of relief, dignity and care to someone already facing uncertainty.
This distribution is part of the more than 41,000 meals and drinking water delivered through the project Emergency Response – Hot Meals and Drinkable Water (Zakat Al Maal) in Northern and Central Gaza.

🐝 Building skills for sustainable beekeeping in Bibugn Woreda, East Gojjam Zone, Amhara Region, Ethiopia !
For this bee guardian project, 50 traditional beekeepers (20 women and 30 men) took part in practical and theoretical training led by Agri Service Ethiopia, in partnership with Mercy Hands Europe.
🍯 Participants strengthened their skills in:
✅ Construction and preparation of top-bar (transition) hives
✅ Safe transfer of bee colonies
✅ Hive inspection and routine management
✅ Pest control and hive protection
✅ Hygienic honey production and storage
✅ Marketing of honey and honey products
🌼 By combining hands-on practice with technical knowledge, the training is helping beekeepers adopt more effective and sustainable practices, improve honey quality and strengthen opportunities to generate income from beekeeping.
🐝 Beekeeping requires little land, supports rural livelihoods and contributes to healthier ecosystems through pollination.
