🌱 We are back in Gaza.
And being back in Gaza today means taking on a response that is anything but simple.
In an extremely fragile and challenging context, where delivering assistance requires enormous commitment, coordination and determination every single day, we are proud to be able to stand once again alongside families who need support.
Over the coming 90 days, this emergency response aims to provide approximately 41,580 hot meals, offering essential support to families facing extremely difficult circumstances.
We are especially grateful to be joining forces once again with @seedcharity Their trust and generous support are making this intervention possible, and we cannot thank them enough for choosing to support this response at such a critical moment.
We are also incredibly proud to begin this project with our new implementing partner, @ihhinsaniyardim .
Their teams are doing an extraordinary job on the ground. Behind every meal distributed is a significant operational effort: sourcing, preparing, organising and delivering assistance day after day in circumstances where humanitarian work is far from easy.
For us, this is what humanitarian partnership should look like: different organisations bringing their strengths together so that support can actually reach people.
A hot meal cannot change the reality of the crisis. But when circumstances are this difficult, being able to provide food consistently, day after day, is already a major undertaking.
Our heartfelt thanks to @seedcharity Charity for their trust and support, and to IHH and their incredible teams on the ground, who are making this response a reality every day. 🤝
We are back in Gaza — and very proud to contribute to making this support possible.
More updates from the field will follow.

🕊️ Supporting women affected by conflict
In the Water, Animals and Plants for a Peaceful and Sustainable Ethiopia II project, psychosocial support activities helped identify an urgent need among conflict-affected and vulnerable women-headed households in the project area.
In response, 35 women-headed households received essential food assistance and 70 litres of edible oil, helping cover basic household food needs for approximately two months.
The distribution was carried out with the participation of Peace Ambassadors and community representatives, alongside field verification and documentation.
This activity forms part of the project’s broader work to support recovery, psychosocial wellbeing, resilience, and social cohesion in communities affected by conflict.
We are grateful to our implementing partner Agri Service Ethiopia, and the contribution of @ville_de_geneve @collonge.bellerive , Commune de Vandœuvres, and Commune de Chêne-Bourg for making this possible.

💧 Sometimes the most meaningful project update doesn’t come in a report… but in a thank-you letter.
This week, we received a heartfelt message from the WASH Committee of Woinwuha Village 1, written on behalf of the community members benefiting from the new water point created through our WAP II project.
Before having access to clean water, daily life was much harder:
⏳ Hours spent fetching water
👩 A heavier burden on women
🏥 Waterborne diseases and additional medical costs
🤰 Greater health risks for pregnant and breastfeeding women and children
📚 Students missing school because they had to collect water
Today, things are starting to change. 💙
Thanks to the collaboration between Agri Service Ethiopia, Mercy Hands Europe and the local community, 399 people in Woinwuha Village 1 now have access to safer water.
Because a water point is never “just” a water point.
💧 It means better health.
⏰ More time.
📚 More opportunities to stay in school.
👩 Less pressure on women.
🤝 And more dignity in everyday life.
Receiving this letter directly from the community is a beautiful reminder of what impact really looks like.
A big thank you to the Woinwuha community, to Agri Service Ethiopia, and to the partners and supporters whose contribution helped make this possible: @ville_de_geneve, @collonge.bellerive , @Vandœuvres and Commune de Chêne-Bourg. 🙏💧

💧A New Well, Closer to the Community
A new hand-dug well has been successfully completed in Bibugn, Ethiopia, as part of the "Water, Animals and Plants for a Sustainable and Peaceful Ethiopia II" project (WAP II). 🎉
While WAP II is made possible thanks to the continued support of our regular donors, this additional well was funded thanks to the generosity of all the participants of @raceforgift 🌟 Their contributions allowed us to build one more water point for the community.
The well provides cleaner, safer and more accessible water to 399 community members, including 202 women and girls and 197 men and boys — previously reliant on a distant river and an unprotected spring, which made water collection difficult and increased exposure to waterborne diseases.🚰
This achievement was made possible through the active participation of the community, whose commitment supported the construction from start to finish. 🤝
We are also grateful to our implementing partner Agri Service Ethiopia for their work on the ground.
Thank you to everyone at Race for Gift — your generosity is changing lives in Bibugn! 🙏💙
