Training Peace Ambassadors 🕊️
Peacebuilding is a new pillar of the second phase of WAP.
As part of this work, selected Peace Ambassadors, including religious leaders and respected elders, took part in a training facilitated by ASE`s Community Development Facilitator and an expert in Ethical Education and Peace Initiatives.
Chosen for their experience and trusted role within the community, these local leaders will help promote dialogue, ethical conduct, and non-violent conflict resolution.
We are grateful to our implementing partner Agri Service Ethiopia, and the contribution of @ville_de_geneve, @collonge_bellerive, and Commune de Vandœuvres for making this possible.

☀️ Shading our seedlings from the heat; installation day at the nursery! 🫒
📸 A shade net is being installed at our nursery to bring temperatures down and create the optimal environment for our seedlings.
💧 And that`s not fog, that`s our misting system at work, keeping humidity levels just right for our young olive plants!
🌱 Coming up next: soil cultivation begins across our fields in coordination with local farmers, turning the soil to clear weeds and give our olive trees the best possible start.

Partnership Milestones 🎓💼
Last Tuesday, our staff and interns were able to gather at the Farewell Cocktail Organized by @bostonugeneva .
Here we were able to celebrate the culmination of our first collaboration with the university, where we hosted two interns, Isabella Turco and Amanda Rios. They spent two and a half months contributing to the work of our organization as Project Manager Interns.
Throughout the event we were able to meet and converse with staff from other participating organizations in the program, such as members of the Mission of Samoa, as well as interact with other interns and Boston University staff.
We are incredibly grateful for this new partnership with Boston University, the invitation to this event, and for the work of our interns.
