Your support makes a lasting impact. At Mercy Hands Europe (MHEU), we are dedicated to providing humanitarian aid and fostering sustainable development across Iraq, Syria, Ethiopia, and beyond. Every donation, big or small, helps us empower local communities, strengthen resilience, and create long-term, positive change. Join us in our mission to provide meaningful assistance where it’s needed most and help build a world where justice, equality, and sustainability thrive.
Back on our Projects page, you can select the specific project you want to allocate your donation to ➔
Mercy Hands Europe is officially recognized as a non-profit organization in Switzerland. This means that donations made to MHEU are eligible for tax exemption under Swiss law. When you support our work, you’re not only helping vulnerable communities—you may also benefit from a reduction in your taxable income.
Whether you are an individual donor or a company, you will receive a donation receipt confirming your contribution, which you can include in your tax declaration. This applies to donations made via bank transfer, credit card, or any of the forms available on our website.
We recommend consulting your local tax authority or advisor to understand the specific benefits you’re entitled to, especially if you are donating from outside Switzerland.
If you have any questions regarding your donation receipt or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us at .
We had a great time at the Community Fair at Ecolint, the International School of Geneva (École Internationale de Genève), where we presented Mercy Hands Europe`s work. 🌍
It was inspiring to meet so many curious and motivated students, reflecting on how they can engage with organisations and take action through creativity, activity, and service.
For us, we are currently looking for participants who would like to walk or run with the Mercy Hands Europe team at Race for Gift, a charity walk/run taking place on 31 May 2026 🏃♀️👟
More details coming soon!
We are also very happy to continue and strengthen our collaboration with Ecolint, following our previous cultural exchange linked to the Digital Library project.

This week, digital equipment and stationery were distributed to schools for students with disabilities as a response to their needs. Students were excited to explore the new materials, which are often difficult to find in local markets.
We are grateful for the support of the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives @canadadev and our partner @mercy_hands for making this possible.
