🕊️ Building peace together
In the Water, Animals and Plants for a Peaceful and Sustainable Ethiopia II project, our Peace Ambassadors came together for a learning session as part of the CoLF group`s ongoing capacity-building work.
The session covered peacebuilding, mediation, psychosocial education, trauma healing, social cohesion, community participation, and the long-term sustainability of project interventions.
The group brings together leaders from the Ethiopian Orthodox Christian Church, respected elders, traditional institutional figures, and CoLF leaders. All voices already trusted and recognized across the community.
We are grateful to our implementing partner Agri Service Ethiopia, and the contribution of @ville_de_geneve, @collonge.bellerive, Commune de Vandœuvres, and Commune de Chêne-Bourg for making this possible.

To protect our mobile solar irrigation units through the winter months, we installed dedicated shade structures at their storage site in Al-Bab.
This extra layer of care shields the panels and equipment from harsh weather, helping ensure the units stay in top condition and ready for every irrigation season ahead 🌾

As part of our water activity, local community members have been actively involved in each step of the process: collecting sand, transporting materials, preparing the excavation works, and producing concrete cylinders for the water infrastructure.👷🏽♂️🤝
