🌱 Soil Health Update from the Field
Good progress continues as farmers strengthen their soil through composting and natural practices. A total of 62 farmers are now engaged in vermicomposting, building their own vermishades and sharing knowledge through peer-to-peer learning.
🌿 Alongside this, 33 farmers (including 15 women) are actively preparing simple compost, improving soil fertility with accessible, low-cost methods.
We are grateful for our implementing partner Agri Service Ethiopia, and the contribution of @ville_de_geneve, Commune de Collonge-Bellerive, and Commune de Vandœuvres for making this possible.

Our olive cuttings are thriving:
➡️ Roots have developed - the plant can now absorb water and nutrients on its own
➡️ New leaves are growing - a sign of active, healthy development
➡️ Stronger base - the cutting is stabilizing and becoming more resilient
This growth is supported by continuous care, fertilization, and upgraded environmental control systems.
A promising start to the season, with more progress ahead 💧☀️

💬 These spaces are platforms for dialogue and collective problem-solving, where community members actively exchange ideas and build solutions with the support of religious leaders and elders.
