We have officially started our activities to improve the living conditions of vulnerable rural households in Bibugn, Ethiopia.🌱
Community engagement sessions are actively taking place, ensuring beneficiaries are directly involved from the start. We are working in close coordination with local government stakeholders, and encouragingly, key actors, including religious leaders, have expressed strong support for the project. Community awareness of the project is continuing to grow.
We are grateful to our implementing partner Agri Service Ethiopia, and the contribution of @ville_de_geneve and Commune de Collonge-Bellerive for making this possible.

We have officially started our activities to improve the living conditions of vulnerable rural households in Bibugn, Ethiopia.🌱
Community engagement sessions are actively taking place, ensuring beneficiaries are directly involved from the start. We are working in close coordination with local government stakeholders, and encouragingly, key actors, including religious leaders, have expressed strong support for the project. 🌿 Spring is around the corner and so is the next phase of our project!
After a winter pause, field activities are restarting with full momentum:
✨ Continuing nodes planting
✨ Setting up olive nursery, heating, and irrigation systems
✨ Preparing technical training sessions for local farmers
✨ Distributing productivity kits with organic fertilizer
Next Steps:
🌱 Distribute around 20,000 plants
🎓 Complete trainings for 90 farmers and kit distributions
Together, we’re cultivating growth, sustainability, and stronger agricultural outcomes.
