Mercy Hands Europe is proud to announce its partnership with WeWard, a mobile app that transforms your daily steps into real-world impact. Through this collaboration, we’re raising support for our Eco-Irrigation and Sustainable Entrepreneurship project in Dassenech Woreda, South Omo, Ethiopia.
This initiative aims to combat food insecurity and poverty by providing solar-powered irrigation systems and training 100 local farmers—50 women and 50 men—in sustainable agriculture and entrepreneurship. The project will also establish two green enterprises to boost vegetable production and livestock feed, ultimately benefiting over 500 community members.
