Greenhouses: Since November 2017, MH has been collaborating with LTT in a livelihood project that provides greenhouses within the Domiz 1 Refugee Camp. MH contributed by providing two greenhouses, seeds, fertilizer and training for some refugee families in the camp. Since the beginning of the project, 58 households have been provided with livelihoods support and now they are able to grow their own vegetables. The vegetables not consumed by the families are sold in the local market. The selection of beneficiaries is coordinated with the Domiz Camp Management who fully support the project and provide the required space for the greenhouses for free. The participating families change every 1-2 seasons in order to increase coverage of the target community and to support the most vulnerable ones. Currently MH maintains the greenhouses and provides periodic inputs out of its own internal funds.
