Setting up greenhouses

Since November 2017, MH has been working with LTT on a livelihoods project that provides greenhouses within Domiz 1 refugee camp. MH has contributed by providing two greenhouses, seeds, fertilizer, and training for selected refugee families in the camp.

Since the project began, 58 households have received livelihood support and are now able to grow their own vegetables. Vegetables not consumed by the families are sold on the local market. The selection of beneficiaries is coordinated with the Domiz camp management, which fully supports the project and provides free space for the greenhouses. Participating families change every 1-2 seasons to increase coverage of the target community and support the most vulnerable.

Currently, MH maintains the greenhouses and provides periodic inputs from its own internal funds.
